Rachel is a compassionate Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a passion for helping individuals on their journey to mental and emotional well-being. Rachel is a proud graduate of Penn State University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health with a minor in psychology and a graduate of William & Mary University earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Veteran’s and military counseling. Her undergraduate studies provided her with a solid foundation in understanding the intricate connection between physical health and psychological well-being.

Rachel specializes in counseling for Veterans and military counseling. Her commitment to this niche area stems from her deep respect, appreciation, and familial connections for those who have served their country.
Rachel is part of a military family and last resided in Arlington, Virginia. Outside of her mental health career, she cherishes quality time spent with her loved ones, playing tennis, practicing yoga, engaging in meditation, participating in social justice activism, and indulging her curiosity through travel.

She tailors her methods to your unique needs, drawing from modalities such as Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), The Gottman Method, OCD therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, to provide you with a personalized and effective therapeutic experience. Rachel has experience assisting diverse client groups, including the LGBTQ+ community, adults with autism, children, adolescents, and individuals from multicultural backgrounds. Additionally, Rachel has received specialized training in emotional regulation and parent coaching techniques to better support her clients.
