At Constantly Healthy Counseling & Coaching, one of the most common questions we hear is, “Do you take insurance?” The short answer is no, and here’s why.
While insurance once made sense, the current reimbursement rates for therapists are too low to maintain a high-quality practice. Unlike medical professionals like doctors and surgeons, therapists receive minimal compensation, especially in states like Florida. This makes it difficult to offer the level of care and attention our clients deserve.
For example, our practice has trained seven interns, each receiving over $155,000 worth of training. These investments in their development and the overall quality of our care wouldn’t be possible if we relied on insurance paybacks.
However, we understand that therapy should be accessible, which is why we offer a sliding scale to make our services affordable for those who need it. This allows us to continue offering top-tier care without sacrificing quality.
When choosing a therapist, it’s important to prioritize value over price. Look for depth in their reviews and real client experiences. At our practice, many of our reviews are detailed, reflecting the life-changing impact we’ve had.
At the end of the day, what’s more important than your mental health? We believe in making the best care accessible and helping you see the true value in investing in yourself.
