When you walk through the doors of Constantly Healthy Counseling & Coaching, you’re not just getting one approach to therapy — you’re entering a space where your whole story is honored and welcomed.

We understand that healing is deeply personal and never one-size-fits-all. That’s why our therapists are trained in multiple evidence-based modalities, including:

  • Narrative Therapy
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

Each of these approaches offers something unique — and when combined with your lived experience, they become powerful tools for healing, clarity, and emotional freedom.

Narrative Therapy: You Are Not the Problem — The Problem Is the Problem

Narrative Therapy invites you to take a step back from the inner dialogue that says “I am the issue” and instead realize:

“The problem is the problem — I am the person living through it.”

At Constantly Healthy Counseling & Coaching, we use Narrative Therapy to help you explore and rewrite the stories you’ve inherited or internalized. Whether shaped by trauma, upbringing, or culture, these stories can be gently reframed to reflect your strength, wisdom, and voice.

We might explore:

  • Where did this story come from?
  • What parts of you have been silenced?
  • What narrative do you want to step into?

Narrative Therapy empowers you to become the author of your own healing — and we’re here to co-write it with you.

ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy): Living Fully, Even When Life Is Messy

ACT (pronounced like the word “act”) helps you move toward a values-based life — even when discomfort is present.

Rather than avoiding or controlling painful emotions, ACT invites you to:

  • Accept what is outside your control
  • Connect with what deeply matters to you
  • Commit to meaningful action

At Constantly Healthy Counseling & Coaching, we use ACT to help you unhook from the inner critic, respond to life with intention, and stay rooted in what feels true — even when anxiety or fear are along for the ride.

One of ACT’s core teachings:

You can carry pain in your backpack and still climb the mountain of your life.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): Thought Work That Builds Emotional Muscles

CBT is one of the most widely used approaches in mental health — and for good reason. It helps you identify the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and gives you the tools to shift stuck patterns.

Through CBT, you learn how to:

  • Recognize negative or distorted thoughts
  • Reframe them in compassionate, balanced ways
  • Build habits that support your mental and emotional health

At Constantly Healthy Counseling & Coaching, our CBT isn’t rigid or clinical — it’s relational. We bring flexibility, empathy, and humor into the process so you can feel seen, supported, and empowered.

ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy): Powerful Healing Without Reliving the Pain

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is one of the most transformative modalities we use — especially for clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, grief, or deeply stuck emotional responses.

ART uses eye movements to help your brain reprocess distressing memories quickly and gently. One of ART’s most unique tools is called Voluntary Image Replacement — where the brain is guided to swap distressing imagery with calming, empowering images, while still retaining the facts of what happened.

What makes ART different?

  • It’s highly directive and structured
  • You don’t need to talk at length about the trauma
  • Results can often be felt in 1–5 sessions

Clients at Constantly Healthy Counseling & Coaching frequently say things like:

“I didn’t expect that much relief in one session.”

“I feel like I can finally breathe again.”

ART is especially helpful when talk therapy feels too activating, and when fast, effective nervous system regulation is needed.

Why We Integrate: Because You’re Not a Diagnosis — You’re a Human Being

Some therapy practices focus on just one modality. At Constantly Healthy Counseling & Coaching, we honor your complexity and adaptability.

That means:

  • We might use Narrative Therapy to shift internalized shame
  • ACT to help you reconnect with your values
  • CBT to build new emotional habits
  • ART to quickly process and release stuck trauma

This is what integrative care looks like.

It’s not about following a protocol — it’s about honoring your pace, your patterns, and your possibilities.

You Don’t Have to Know the Method — Just Bring Yourself

You don’t need to decide which therapy is “right” for you. That’s our job — to listen deeply, collaborate with you, and bring the right blend of approaches into each session.

Whether you’re navigating:

  • Anxiety or burnout
  • Trauma or grief
  • Life transitions or identity work
  • Or just feeling stuck and unsure why…

We’re here. With tools that work, and people who care.

Come as you are. Leave with more of who you are.

At Constantly Healthy Counseling & Coaching, your healing journey is never rushed — but always supported.

Let’s begin your next chapter together.
